Edward Cifelli: Vice President of Skylands Writers & Artists Association, Inc.

Edward Cifelli is a professor of English at County College of Morris. He received his Ph.D. from New York University and served as co-editor of the Index of American Periodical Verse from 1976-1978. He is the author of the critical study David Humphreys and lives in Newton NJ where he writes film criticism for The New Jersey Herald. He has edited The Selected Letters of John Ciardi and The Collected Poems of John Ciardi and recently published a biography: John Ciardi from The University of Arkansas Press, 201 Ozark Avenue, Favetteville, AR. 72701.

Eward Cifelli's biography of Ciardi won the Best Academic Book of the Year, 1998, Award from CHOICE. It was also a finalist, in nomination for The Best Non-fiction Book Award, 1998, from The New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
